Services Available

•   Special Education Services provided to students as indicated in the Accommodation and or Individual Education Plan (IEP).
•   Evaluations by school psychologist to identify possible barriers to learning (Physical, Speech, & Occupational Therapy)
•   Serves as a liaison between the school, home, court, and other agencies to ensure coordination of services
•   Provides instructional planning and consultation for any student experiencing problems in school (Student Support Team – SST)
•   Arranges for students to participate in the Ropes Course Program to enhance communication, self-esteem, team work, etc.
•   Provide assistance to students experiencing difficulty coping with school and / or home environments (Student Assistance Program – SAP)
•   Provide instruction at home or in the hospital to students who have missed 10 or more days of school due to illness or an accident. This service must be requested by a parent and authorized by a physician.
•   Provide information on Home School (parents must have at least GED or high school diploma).
•   Provide Guidance Counseling at each school.
•   Provide a school nurse to assess vision, hearing, dental, mental and physical capabilities. Assistance also provided for minor emergencies.
