CHAPTER NINE: IMPLEMENTATION

Minimum planning standards require an implementation strategy that must include a short term work program. The work program must specifically include the following:

1.A description of community and economic development initiatives or programs, public or private, to be put in place over each of the next five years, including cost estimates and alternative funding sources, where applicable;
2.A description of major capital improvements or infrastructure expansions proposed over each of the next five years, including cost estimates and alternative funding sources; and
3.A description of administrative systems, regulatory measures or land development regulations to be adopted or amended over each of the next five years. Land development regulations may include building codes, subdivision regulations, zoning ordinances, performance standards, etc.

For Hart County, these required items have been consolidated into Table 9-2, which is titled "Implementation Plan and Work Program, 1995-1999. Due to the limited number of programs/activities resulting from the planning process, Bowersville has a very simple and brief Short Term Work Program, as provided in Table 9-1.
