Executive Session

Purpose of the executive session was to discuss real estate acquisition and personnel matters.

Those in attendance were Chairman Joel Moore, Commissioners Ken Brown, Don Burdick, Harry Hannah, Attorney Walter Gordon and County Administrator Gary Cobb.

Chairman Moore briefed the commissioners on the status of real estate acquisition. The chairman asked for a motion to authorize him to continue negotiations. The motion was made and seconded to authorize the chairman to continue negotiations and set the county’s maximum offer. Motion passed unanimously.

County Attorney Gordon briefed the commissioners on the selection of a new public defender.

Executive session adjourned to the regular meeting.
