The Hart County Board of Commissioners met December 1^st, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hart County Administrative & Emergency Services Center.

Chairman Joel Moore presided with Commissioners Ken Brown, Don Burdick and R. C. Oglesby in attendance.

Call to Order

Chairman Moore called the meeting to order at 10:10 a.m. Those present were Commissioners Burdick, Brown and Oglesby. Also present were Gary Cobb, Walter Gordon and Johnny Dickerson.

Motion by Commissioner Burdick, 2^nd by Commissioner Brown to go into Executive Session to discuss Litigation and Real Estate matters as required by OCGA 50-14-2, 50-14-3, 50-14-4(b). Vote 4-0. The affidavit and resolution is recorded in the "2000-2001" minutes book.

Motion by Commissioner Burdick, 2^nd by Commissioner Brown to exit Executive Session and continue the called meeting. Vote 4-0.

Old Business

a. Bids/Patrol Cars

Commissioner Oglesby entered a motion to accept James Short Ford bid of $19,945 per vehicle for two cars. Second by Commissioner Brown. Vote 4-0.

New Business

a. Hazel Walters Proclamation

Motion by Commissioner Oglesby, second by Commissioner Brown to accept the Hazel Walters Proclamation as presented. Vote 4-0. The Proclamation is recorded in the "2000-2001" minutes book.

b. W/S Authority Secretary Job Description

Motion by Commissioner Oglesby, second by Commissioner Burdick to approve the W/S Authority Secretary Job description and to establish this position as a Grade 10. Vote 4-0.

Motion by Commissioner Oglesby, second by Commissioner Burdick to credit up to 18 years experience to Ms. Ann Jessup to fill the position of W/S Secretary. Vote 4-0.

Motion by Commissioner Oglesby. Second by Commissioner Brown to adjourn the meeting. Vote 4-0.
