Hart County EMS Training Office is dedicated to full and part time EMS employees for the purpose of continuing education. Study topics will be changed periodically . After each subject is covered there will be a written evaluation ( test ) to determine compentency in each area. Continuing education hours will be granted to those who pass tests with fair to excellent grades . In-service classes will be scheduled on the Training Calendar and will be mandatory to full time employees. Employees are encouraged to obtain as many CEU hours as possible to maintain certification. GEMA courses will be scheduled as needed throughout the year. Critical Care checkoffs will be performed bi-monthly on a shift wide basis. ACLS will be taught every two years. I will try to schedule PALS and PHTLS also with the help of Lifenet and other various EMS services in our surrounding area.
