Chairman Joel Moore presided with Commissioners
Call to Order, Welcome, Moment of Silence
Chairman Moore called the meeting to order, welcomed those in attendance and called for a moment of silence.
Approve Agenda
Commissioner Oglesby entered a motion to approve the meeting agenda. Commissioner Brown provided a second to the motion. The motion carried unanimously. The agenda is recorded in the "2000-2001" minutes book.

Commissioner Oglesby entered a motion to approve the minutes of the meetings held November 27th, 28th, December 1st and 5th '00. Commissioner Burdick provided a second to the motion. The motion carried unanimously.

Chairman Moore reported the county employee's Christmas luncheon is scheduled December 22nd, 2000 at the Hartwell Elementary cafeteria.

Commissioner Oglesby entered a motion to approve the Consent Agenda. Commissioner Banister provided a second to the motion. The motion carried unanimously. The Consent Agenda is recorded in the "2000-2001" minutes book.

a. Liability Insurance
Commissioner Burdick entered a motion to award the insurance liability coverage effective January 1st, 2001 through September 30th, 2001 to Franklin Insurance/St Paul contingent on Attorney Gordon's review. Commissioner Brown provided a second to the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
b. Beer & Wine renewals 2001
After discussing the beer and wine renewals for 2001, Commissioner Oglesby entered a motion to approve the beer and wine renewals for the following applicants and table Will Martin/Dad's II application until further investigation: Commissioner Brown provided a second to the motion. The motion carried unanimously.

c. Road Building Assistance to City
Chairman Moore entered a motion to assist the City of Hartwell in building a new street, Harry Hannah Lane, by providing the equipment and labor to set base and pave the roadway. The city will provide all materials and all other labor for the project. Further, the project will be scheduled when county resources are available. Commissioner Brown provided a second to the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
d. 1st Reading, Amendments to Chapter 34, Environment
Greg Oglesby read the amendments of the document, which will amend the current Erosion Control Ordinance.
Public Comment
County Administrator Gary Cobb stated his appreciation to Chairman Moore for serving the county on behalf of himself and staff members.
Mark Lanford stated he will miss Chairman Moore personally and wished him well.
County Attorney also remarked that he would miss Chairman Moore.
Chairman Moore said he appreciated the support of former county commissioners and wished everyone God speed and blessings and to be thankful each morning to live in Hart County.
Commissioner Oglesby entered a motion to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Brown provided a second to the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
