Hart County Board of Commissioners

The Hart County Board of Commissioners met August 8^th, 2001 at 12 noon in the Hart County Administrative & Emergency Services Center.

Chairman R. C. Oglesby presided with Commissioners Randy Banister, Don Burdick and Joey Dorsey in attendance.

Call to Order

Chairman Oglesby called the meeting to order and announced that the purpose of the meeting was to open sealed bids for garbage bags.

The following companies submitted bids for garbage bags:

1. Soutland Packaging

2. Thornton Brothers

3. Enviro Bag

4. DynaPak

After reviewing the bids, Chairman Oglesby entered a motion to award the low bid submitted by Southland Packaging @$17,422.70. Commissioner Burdick provided a second to the motion. The motion carried unanimously.

Commissioner Burdick entered a motion to review the county's purchasing procedure policy to include services. Commissioner Dorsey provided a second to the motion. The motion carried unanimously.

Commissioner Burdick entered a motion to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Dorsey provided a second to the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
