Hart County Board of Commissioners

Work Session

Present were Chairman Dorsey, Commissioners Ken Brown, Don Burdick, Randy Banister and R. C. Oglesby (part time). Others present were Ray Lewis, Gary Cobb, Walter Gordon, Tom Mullenix (part time), Jeff Schenck (Hartwell Sun), Joel Gunnells (part time).

Meeting began at 5:30 p.m. The format was similar as the August 2^nd and 7^th meetings. Departments that had not been previously discussed were reviewed. Tom Mullenix, DFACS, was present and presented his request. Questions were asked, options discussed, etc. Several preliminary decisions were reached. Those preliminary decisions will be presented in the draft budget, scheduled to be released on August 23^rd and approval sought on September 24^th, 2002. Meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
