Budget Work Sessions

The Hart County Board of Commissioners held budget work sessions August 15^th through August 18^th, 2005 in the Hart County Administrative & Emergency Services Center at 12 noon until 1:00 p.m.

August 15^th work session Commissioners Reyen, Carter and Dorsey were present. Chairman Oglesby & Commissioner Mize were absent.

August 16^th work session all BOC members were present.

August 17^th work session all BOC members were present. A vote was taken to fund the DDA with $8,000 from the Economic Development Fund. Commissioner Dorsey commented that the DDA should be funded by the City of Hartwell due to the fact that the DDA represents only the City of Hartwell businesses. Vote 4-1 (Commissioner Dorsey opposed).

August 18^th work session Chairman Oglesby, Reyen, Carter and Dorsey were present. Commissioner Mize was absent.
