1. If you would like to sign up for the ability to file Real Estate you can contact Peach court @ 1-844-GA-EXILE and they will help you set up an account where you can file any Real Estate documents from your home or office. This also includes filing of Plats.

2. If you need a Plat efiled in to our office, your Surveyor can handle that for you with a small fee between you and them. Please feel free to contact them for information.

3. If you wish to research Real Estate through HART COUNTY you can do this through my vendor KOFILE. If you will contact me @ 1-706-376-7189 I will help you get set up to research this from your home or office.

4. If you wish to research Criminal and Civil documents through HART COUNTY you can do this through my vendor ICON. if you will contact me @ 1-706-376-7189 I will help you get set up to research this from your home or office.

5. You also can set up an account through gsccca.org for real estate research. please check them out.


The Clerk of Superior Court Office is open from 08:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and we are here to serve you. Please do not be offended if we ask that we conduct business with you in our hallway. Please if you have any symptoms of Fever, Sore throat etc. remain outside in the hallway.

EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2013

The Clerk of Court and staff perform numerous functions, many of which come as a surprise to the public. Among these duties and functions are:

  • Maintains all court records including filing of the following:
    • Criminal, Civil, Juvenile and Adoptions
    • Transmitting of Criminal Record and TPOs to GCIC
  • Maintains Records for Juries of each term of court:
    • Prepares Jury Noticies
    • Manages Jury Processes
    • Updates Jury Pool Annually
    • Attends all Court Sessions
    • Reads Jury Verdict to the Court
    • Issues Subpoenas
  • Files, Records, and Indexes All Records related to Real Estate Including the following:
    • Processes Real Estate; Liens and Personal Property Instruments
    • Collects and submits Real Estate Transfer Tax Forms, UCC, POPTF, POAB,
    • Sheriffs' Retirement, Law Library, Drug ADR Victims Assistance Program, Intangible Taxes,
    • Education Fund, Children's Trust Fund, Clerks' Retirement and Jail Fund
    • Processing of E-Filing, Real Estate and Plats
  • Files and Records Trade Names and Attorneys' Register
  • Maintains filing of Military Records (DD214)
  • Maintains Coroners' Reports
  • Schedules Board of Equalization Hearings

All the real estate records and most of the court records are public. These records may be viewed at the Clerk of Court's office during regular office hours.
