When selected for a position, the candidate must have a physical examination and a drug screen.
The county will pay for these tests and exams.
Per County policies and procedures, employees are also required to submit to random drug tests.
All applications must be notarized to be considered.



Hart County Road Department is accepting applications for experienced Heavy Equipment Operators.
Operators would be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment to construct and maintain
county roads and drainage systems. Appicants must have valid CDL license.

Hart County Road Department is accepting applications for experienced Truck Drivers.
Drivers would be responsible for operating a dump truck to haul dirt and transport materials to and from
work sites. Appicants must have valid CDL license; good driving record, ability to read, write and perform
basic mathematical calculations, sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the
major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.

Hart County Board of Commissioners is currently accepting applications
for full time and part time E-911 Communications Officers. Post certification preferred but not required
Before being hired applicants must pass a criminal background check,
drug screen, and physical exam.

Hart County Emergency Medical Services is always accepting applications
for part time employees. Applicants must be a Georgia licensed EMT-I or Paramedic.
Before being hired applicants must pass a criminal background check,
driving history, drug screen, and physical exam.
