**ATTENTION ORPHAN COUNTIES IN NORTHEAST GEORGIA**
Are you interested in receiving in state station programming?
The STELAR Act of 2014 opened the pathway for local governments
to request satellite market modifications for their communities.
The Federal Communication Commission (FCC) adopted the final rules
in the fall of 2015 and formalized the process in 2016.
Over the past year, Hart County and neighboring orphan counties
have been working diligently to follow each step of the required process
and collect the necessary information to meet the statutory requirements
for the petition. We are now anticipating that comments of county residents
will be considered heavily in the FCC's analysis of our petition.
While we have heard from many of our citizens,
it is important that we formalize these comments and concerns.
We are asking for your help by completing a short survey
regarding in-state programming. The survey is open to residents in Hart,
Franklin, Stephens, and Elbert. The survey may be accessed through the link below:
