Information Technology (IT) Hart County is stepping up its pace with the exploding technology of today's office environment. New networks have been and continue to be installed, enabling employees to handle workflow faster and more efficiently than ever. This branch of the Hart County Government is responsible for the networking, computers, software, and technology purchasing for the county. |

responsibilities: |
Determines and implements the development of standards and decisions regarding changes to network/systems/applications and provides technical expertise Manages vendor relationships to maximize value to the County; negotiates technology related contracts Provides enabling technologies to improve the performance of County processes as well as reduce costs Manages information systems activities such as IT infrastructure and architecture, applications development, networks, computer operations, and troubleshooting/support for employees Provides Internet access to public records for the County and to Hart County residents Manages the development of internal IT to ensure productive use of existing and new systems Develops, maintains, and updates the County's Web site. |
